Wisconsin – BadgerCare Plus - Eligibility

Page Content Footer

BadgerCare Plus

All children under 19 years old – at all income levels – can enroll in BadgerCare Plus if they don't have access to health insurance. Families with children at higher income levels will pay premiums and copayments for certain services.

The ability to enroll in BadgerCare Plus is based on the federal poverty level (FPL). To view the current federal poverty levels visit the BadgerCare Plus section on the Wisconsin Department of Health Services website. There is also an online tool that can help you calculate your FPL using household income in dollars.

More information on Eligibility and Enrollment can be found on Wisconsin Department of Health Services website.
