Fall and winter are prime time for the flu.

Anyone can get and spread the flu.

And for some people it can become serious. Each year, thousands of people, young and old, go to the hospital because of the flu. Protect yourself by getting a flu shot soon.

You may also need a pneumonia shot if:

  • Your doctor or your child’s doctor advises it.
  • You’re 65 or older.
  • You have long-term health problems like asthma or a weakened immune system.
  • You smoke.

Make an appointment today.
No one wants to get sick. Call your doctor today to make an appointment for your shots.

Get the shot not the flu.
If you’re a member of UnitedHealthcare Community Plan, there’s no copay for your flu and pneumonia shots. And no copay to visit your Primary Care Physician for flu or pneumonia care.
