You’re on a very important journey.

Here’s a little of what to expect in your pregnancy:

Months 1 to 3: As your body changes, you might feel nausea, mood swings, tiredness or heartburn.

Months 4 to 6: For most women, the nausea has passed. Your baby isn’t big enough to make you too uncomfortable.

Months 7 to 9: At this stage, your baby grows fastest. You might feel more tired and uncomfortable.

  • To start with, you should visit your doctor every 4 to 6 weeks.
  • In months 4 to 6 of your pregnancy, you should visit your doctor once a month.
  • Toward the end of months 7 to 9 of your pregnancy, you should  visit your doctor every week.
