BadgerCare Plus is a health care program created for Wisconsin children under the age of 19, regardless of income, who do not have access to health insurance. This program is also available to low-income individuals and families who qualify. Benefits for BadgerCare Plus depend on income level.

Medicaid SSI

Financial hardships or disability can make life difficult in many ways - but having a capable health care plan can help. Medicaid SSI is a medical program for those who receive Supplemental Security Income (SSI) from the state of Wisconsin. To qualify you must first apply with your Social Security Office.

This is a Medicare Advantage plan for people on Medicaid who also qualify for Medicare – commonly known as "dual eligible." It's intended for people who live in a community setting, receive financial help (such as SSI) from their State Medicaid program and have Medicare. This plan includes all Medicare Part A (Hospital) & B (Doctor) benefits and Part D prescription drug coverage. It also provides benefits not offered by Original Medicare.
