UnitedHealthcare Community Plan, a BAYOU HEALTH plan, is the UnitedHealthcare Medicaid health care program.
We provide you and your family a full range of quality health care services. We have a network of doctors, specialists, hospitals and pharmacies in all 64 parishes in Louisiana.
You have a choice of a personal doctor who will make sure that you get all the services you need to stay healthy. This doctor is also called your primary care physician or PCP. You should see your PCP for all of your medical needs. There are no limits on the number of times you may see your doctor. If your doctor thinks you need to see a specialist, he or she will help you find the right specialist in our network.
