What is Medicaid?

Medicaid is a program for people with low income who meet certain eligibility requirements and programs can vary from state-to-state. Medicare is a federal health insurance program for people who are age 65 or older, disabled persons, or those with end-stage kidney disease. Medicare eligibility is not based on income, and basic coverage is the same in each state.

Who may be eligible for Medicaid in Arizona?

What is Evercare Select?

Evercare provides a state-specific health plan for certain Medicaid recipients who live in the state of Arizona called Evercare Select. Evercare Select is a long-term-care health plan for certain elderly, physically disabled and chronically ill people.

How do I enroll in Evercare Select?

In order to be a member of Evercare Select, you must be enrolled in the Arizona Long Term Care System (ALTCS), which is part of the Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System (AHCCCS).
