Our MS Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) is for children up to age 19. You can choose your child’s doctor. And your kids get extras that other plans don’t offer. Choose “See More Plan Features” to view what our plan offers your family.

Well and Sick Care

Get the care your child needs to grow up healthy, or to get better if he or she is injured or sick. Member benefits include:

Care for Conditions

If your child has special health care needs, you can count on us. Our plan will provide the extra care and services he or she needs. Benefits include:

  • Asthma and Allergy Support. Exams, testing and supplies are covered.
  • Care Management. If you qualify, get personal help managing health conditions.
  • Kidney Disease Care. Dialysis, medicine and treatments are covered.
  • Diabetes Education. We'll help your child learn to manage diabetes.
  • Mental Health. Counseling and other treatments are covered.
  • Residential Care. Brief stay at a care facility to recover from sickness or injury.

Vision, Dental and Hearing Care

Make sure your child's sight, smile and hearing are at their best. Benefits include:

  • Dental. We pay for cleanings, checkups and dental work.
  • Hearing. Screenings and hearing aids, if needed, are provided.
  • Vision. Covers eye exams and eyeglasses.

Home Care and Supplies

Get the medical care and equipment you need to manage your child's health. Benefits include:

  • Home Health Care. Care to help your child safely recover at home.
  • Equipment and Medical Supplies. Your child's in-home safety equipment is covered.

Rides and Other Help

Sometimes you might need a little extra help using your child's health plan. For those times, you can rely on:

  • NurseLineSM. Speak with a registered nurse 24/7.
  • Interpreters. Have an interpreter with you at your child's doctor visits.
  • Language Help. Translated medical materials are available at no cost.
  • Member Services. Your benefit questions are answered 24/7.
  • The Farm to Fork Program. Pick up a bag of fresh produce monthly.

 is a bilingual, multimedia program designed in partnership with Sesame Street to help support families who have children between the ages of 2 and 8 and are coping with uncertain or limited access to affordable and nutritious food.
