- Get a flu shot. It’s the best way to prevent the flu.
- Get good nutrition, exercise and rest.
- Stay home when you are sick until you are fever-free for 24 hours.
- Wash your hands often.
- Cough or sneeze into your elbow. Don’t touch your eyes, nose or mouth.
