Here’s a little of what to expect in your pregnancy:
Months 1 to 3: As your body changes, you might feel nausea, mood swings, tiredness or heartburn.
Months 4 to 6: For most women, the nausea has passed. Your baby isn’t big enough to make you too uncomfortable.
Months 7 to 9: At this stage, your baby grows fastest. You might feel more tired and uncomfortable.

It’s normal to have questions about your pregnancy.
As a member, you can call and talk to a skilled nurse anytime, day or night.
Call our NurseLine with questions about:
- Signs of early labor.
- Anything that worries you about your health or pregnancy.
- When to head to the hospital.

Important times to see your doctor.
Make an appointment with an OB/GYN doctor:
- When you find out you are pregnant, or 12 weeks at the latest.
- Once a month from your first visit through your 6th month.
- Once a week in your 9th month.
- One week after you give birth if you have a c-section.
- Between 4 and 6 weeks after you give birth.
Insurance covers these doctor visits and more.
