Immunizations (shots) can help your kids avoid serious illness. The recommended immunization schedule begins at birth and continues through age 6.

Here are some tips:
- Eat meals together. Serve fruits, vegetables, whole grain products, lean meats. Limit sodas and drink more water.

- Limit screen time. Allow TV, video games and computer use no more than two hours a day.
