You’re on a very important journey.
Here’s a little of what to expect in your pregnancy:
Months 1 to 3: As your body changes, you might feel nausea, mood swings, tiredness or heartburn.
Months 4 to 6: For most women, the nausea has passed. Your baby isn’t big enough to make you too uncomfortable.
Months 7 to 9: At this stage, your baby grows fastest. You might feel more tired and uncomfortable.

Personal Care Manager
Ifyou’re having a difficult pregnancy, you may qualify for extra help.
A Healthy First Steps® Personal Care Manager will:
• Help you find a doctor for yourself and your baby.
• Help you make doctor visits.
• Arrange for home health care if your doctor requests it.
• Order any special supplies that your doctor requests.
• Stay in touch with you and your doctor.
• Make a home visit after you have your baby.

Important times to see your doctor.
Make an appointment with an OB/GYN doctor:
- When you find out you are pregnant, or 12 weeks at the latest.
- Once a month from your first visit through your 6th month.
- Once a week in your 9th month.
- One week after you give birth if you have a c-section.
- Between 4 and 6 weeks after you give birth.
Insurance covers these doctor visits and more.
