FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQs)
Is there a cost for the courses? No! All courses are free.
May I take a course more than once? Yes! As often as you like.
Do I have to be a provider to take a course? No! We understand that you may need to designate a representative from your office or facility.
Do I have to register for a course? Yes, the registration link is available under each course description.
Do I need special software? No! Just an internet connection and the link into the course session , which can be found at the top right of this screen. When you go to participate in your first course, you may be required to download about 90 seconds of software in order to view the session. Be assured that nothing harmful is being downloaded to your computer.
Additionally, there is a conference call dial-in number, you will see the course presentation through your computer, and you will hear the course audio through your telephone.
Do I HAVE to take the courses? Yes and no. All providers are required to attend – in person or via WebEx – the UnitedHealthcare Community Plan 101 / Provider Orientation course. The rest of the courses are electives designed to get you – and keep you – up and running as a UnitedHealthcare Community Plan Tennessee provider.
I have a course today, what do I do? Find the course at the right of this page and open the PDF to find WebEx link.
Where is the list of the actual course times and the WebEx links? Please see the top right of this screen for current course offerings and availability.
Why do I have to give a name and email address at the beginning of a course? This helps us track attendance and participation in the courses and allows us to reach you if you need questions answered.
What if I am unable to get in to the WebEx? Please go ahead and dial in to the conference number and let the WebEx facilitator know the nature of the trouble you’re having.
