Encourage healthy eating and exercise.
Here are some tips:
- Eat meals together. Serve fruits, vegetables, whole grain products, lean meats. Limit sodas and drink more water.
- Help children stay active. Give them at least one hour of physical activity a day.
- Limit screen time. Allow TV, video games and computer use no more than two hours a day.
