As a member, Healthy First Steps® will help guide you through your pregnancy.

You get help:

  • Choosing a doctor or nurse midwife.
  • Scheduling appointments and exams.
  • Finding transportation to the doctor.
  • Choosing a doctor for your new baby.
  • Getting care after your baby is born.
  • Connecting with community resources.

Earn rewards you can use for baby supplies.

As a member, you can earn prepaid MasterCards for going to doctor checkups to help you and your baby stay healthy.

You get:

  • $25 when you see your doctor in the first 13 weeks of pregnancy or within 42 days of enrollment in Medicaid.
  • $50 when you see your doctor 8 times before your baby is born.
  • $25 when you see your doctor between 21 and 56 days after your baby is born.

As a member, you can call and talk to a skilled nurse anytime, day or night.
Call our 24/7 NurseLine with questions about:

  • Signs of early labor.
  • Anything that worries you about your health or pregnancy.
  • When to head to the hospital.
